JV Volleyball finished 2nd at Coopersville Invite

Game Date: Aug 24, 2019

JV Volleyball kicked off their season at the Coopersville Invite. The player's stellar serving propelled the team to victory. The JV team defeated Forest Hills Northern (26-24,25-21), Grant (25-13, 25-17), and Sparta ( 25-11, 25-14) in pool play. After pool play, the team received the number one seed heading into tournament play.

The Crusaders defeated Jenison in three sets in the semi finals. First set: 25-11/ Second set: 24-26/Third set:15/13. The JV team came up short against Holland Christian losing both sets 11-25 and 23-25.

Despite the disappointing loss to end the day, the girls played well and our season is off to a phenomenal start.
