Camps and Clinics
Unity Christian will be hosting a Flag Football Camp this winter for boys in 2nd through 7th grades. Instruction will be given on basic skills, fundamentals, and rules of football. However, the majority of the time will focus on playing flag football. Teams will be formed each week based on age and skill level. No experience is necessary and players of any level are encouraged to participate.
Dates are Saturday, February 1, 8, 15, and 22, and the cost is $35. Times are 12-1 p.m. for 2nd/3rd grade, 1:15 - 2:15 p.m. for 4th/5th grade, and 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. for 7th/8th grade. Unity Christian will be hosting a three-week program for girls in 5th- 8th grades on Saturday mornings: January 18 & 25, and February 1. Each session will teach fundamental basketball skills and provide team competition. The cost is $35 for 5th/6th grades (9 - 10 a.m.) and $45 for 7th/8th grades (10 - 11:30 a.m.). Unity Christian is sponsoring a middle school wrestling team that will run from January 6 to February 12. This team is for you whether you have wrestled before or not — all experience levels are welcome! Boys and girls are welcome!
