The boys had a great day of bowling. They finished tied for 5th in the tournament. But that really did not sum up how well they did. They finished 2nd in qualifying behind Kenowa Hills. They posted a 942 and 850 regular games. They were led by Caleb Vander Maas. Caleb rolled a tourny best 248 and then added a 190 to take 2nd place overall. Those scores garnered him two medals. Kurtis Montsma also added a 194 and a 180 to take home a 10th place medal. The boys then posted 4 baker games in the 190s. After tounament officials added to teams to the brackets, Unity faced Lowell in the first round and lost by 3 pins in though they posted 2 more very good bakers scores in the 170s. It was a heartbreaking finish to an otherwise awesome day.
