The Crusaders had a strong start to the game and were able to build a quick lead against West Catholic. Both teams continued to trade baskets for much of the game. In the fourth quarter Unity held an eight point lead with just a few minutes left, but West Catholic hit some big shots and were able to get it down to 1 with just a few seconds left. Unity Christian made a free throw with 2 seconds left and West Catholic was unable to make a last second shot.
