Unity Christian hosted West Ottawa in a tough matchup. In the first quarter both teams came out strong on the offensive end, and traded baskets for most of the first quarter. Both teams continued their strong performances in the second quarter and the lead went back and forth. West Ottawa had a 27-25 lead at halftime. The Crusaders used a strong third quarter to take a 40-37 after three quarters. Unity Christian was able to push their lead up to 10, but West Ottawa continued to play hard and closed the lead down to four with just a few minutes left in the game. Unity Christian was able to get some key baskets down the stretch and held on to win 54-49.
