In the first quarter the Crusaders came out strong and took an early 12-6 lead over Hudsonville. Unity Christian built on their lead in the second quarter and lead 28-18 at halftime. The Eagles used a 19 point third quarter to take the lead at the end of the third 37-36. The Eagles continued to play a strong second half and eventually built their lead to six points. The Crusaders battled back and was able to regain the lead with less than one minute left. The Crusaders were able to get one final stop and won 52-50.
