Girls JV Softball vs. Grandville HS School

GRANDVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 22

Although Unity did not win, the team rallied to score 12 runs on Grandville. It was an incredibly windy day and both teams worked hard to figure out how to adjust in such conditions. There were several highlights to the game despite the loss. Natalie Bush was tough on the mound pushing through long innings with lots of pitches. Paige Rylaarsdam rocked it behind the plate - stopping balls and directing throws. Lauren Hermance hit a homerun over the fence- first one of the season!
