On Thursday night, Unity Christian Varsity softball traveled to Allendale to play 2 conference games.  UC game out on top in both games by scores of 12-0 and 11-3.  Unity bats continued to stay hot as we collected 13 hits in game one and 14 hits in game 2.  Game 1 several players had multiple hits including Paige Rylaarsdam, Allie Lubben, Olivia Miller, Autumn Meinzer, & Julia Bremer.  In game 1 Makenzie Cammenga pick up her 3^rd conference win with a rule ruled shortened game.  Makenzie went 5 innings in striking out 7 and only giving up 1 hit.  In Game 2 we saw 5 more players record multiple hits with Natalie Bush leading the team with 3 hits.  Paige, Allie, Molly Versluis, & Kaylee VanderVeen all collected 2 hits.  Two more players hit HR’s in game 2, with Paige leading off the game on first pitch hitting it over the left field fence.  Natalie Bush also went deep on the night.  Allie Lubben got the win in going 6 innings giving up 2 earned runs and striking out 4.  Kaylee VanderVeen come on in relief in the 7^th to record the save.  UC Softball will next be in action at Wayland on Saturday.
