Unity Christian split on the day with Allendale in doubleheader action on Tuesday. In game one, Unity went down early in the 1st inning and was not able to make up the deficit, losing 14-6. Unity had 11 hits in the game, led by Tory Decker with 3, Julia Bremer, Kaylee VanderVeen, & Molly VerSluis all had two hits on the day. In game two, Unity was able to come back and split on the day, winning 13-10. Kaylee VanderVeen was credited with the win. Unity had 20 hits the 2nd game. Ashley Veldheer had 4, Julia Bremer with 3, and Allie Lubben, Tory Decker, Natalie Bush, Kaylee Vander Veen, Olivia Miller, & Mya Vander Vliet all had two hits. Unity also hit 3 home runs in game 2, led by Natalie Bush with 2 and Tory Decker with 1. Unity will be back in action on Wednesday at home against Covenant Christian.
