In the season opener today the Crusaders battled the wind and the Sailors of Muskegon Mona Shores. The Sailors struck first,but the Saders quickly answered to tie it up before halftime. With the wind, Unity pushed for the winner and were rewarded with just over 2 minutes left to take the win 2-1.
