The Crusader's season came to a halt by way of a penalty kick shootout. Unity scored first just 4 minutes into the game, but the Tigers equalized just 3 minutes later.. The Crusaders regained the lead 5 minutes into the 2nd half only to have Allegan draw level with 8 minutes remaining in the game. The Crusaders had a number of near misses in the last 8 minutes and into both overtime periods before the game finally was to be decided at the penalty spot with the Tigers netting 5 to the Crusaders 4 after 8 rounds.
