The Hawkeyes got this victory in what was their final game of the year. The Crusader freshman played well, but the Hamilton boys just made a few more plays. Colin Glashower and Nick Tibbe both pitched well in the game, and Jackson Bush threw out multiple runners from behind the plate. Connor Yowtz and Luke Snoeyink each tripled in the game. Snoeyink's triple would have been a homerun if not for an all-too-common occurrence of coaching malpractice - his head coach held him at 3rd. He would have easily been safe. Yowtz's triple was definitely a triple.
