ZEELAND EAST HIGH SCHOOL: 6
The Crusaders came up just short in this exciting freshman contest. Easton Miedema knocked in the tying run in the game and Luke Snoeyink hit our first home run of the season to give us the lead but we couldn't hold it. Carter Dykstra also had an excellent day at the plate with two doubles. Jackson Bush started and impressive 2-3-6 double play and Nick Tibbe also threw someone out from centerfield.
