HOLLAND HIGH SCHOOL: 4
The Crusader freshman were competitive again tonight and won both games of their double header. Jared Haverdink pitched 3 shutout innings in relief to get the win for the Crusaders. After being down 4-0, Unity rallied to win 8-4 thanks to some effective small ball which included a nice suicide squeeze, executed by Austin Schuiteman. Carter Dykstra and Riley Mulder also were important contributors as they each started an important rally in the 3rd and 4th innings.
