Unity Christian started the game against Catholic Central with a long drive down to the 5 yard line and came up short on a 4th and 1. Catholic Central then broke a 95 yard run on the very next play of the game to take a 8-0 lead. Unity responded with a field goal then forced a turnover and hit another field goal to make the game 8-6 at halftime. Catholic Central came out in the 2nd half and drove down for a touchdown to increase their lead to 16-8. After a few defensive stops for both teams Unity found the endzone with under 2 minutes to go to cut the lead to 16-13. Unity did get the ball back with under 10 seconds left but was unable to complete the comeback.
