Unity defeated Godwin Heights 7-1 to claim the District Championship. Less than 15 seconds into the game, Unity found the back of the net. The offense kept rolling, adding two more in the next 10 minutes. Godwin's speed and skill eventually got the Wolverines on the scoreboard off of a rebound. Godwin put the pressure on to start the second half, but Unity's defense held strong. After a flurry of Godwin attacks, Unity's offense found their rhythm again and added four more to secure the victory.
