Unity showed grit and determination against a tough Grand Rapids Christian team by overcoming a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2. The saders gave up 2 goals in the first half before drawing a penalty kick with just a few minutes remaining in the first half. The converted penalty cut the lead in half going into halftime. Unity's high intensity created a lot of chances to start the second half and 7 minutes into the half, a beautiful volley from outside the box tied the game. Tied at 2, both teams were battling to find the winning goal. With just a few minutes remaining in the game, Unity found the game winner to complete the comeback victory.
