In a non-conference clash between 2 highly ranked teams the Crusaders came out with a 1-0 win over Northpointe Christian. The game saw precious few quality scoring chances for either team as both teams played hard and defended well. The Crusaders cashed in about halfway through the second half and hung on for the victory as the mustangs pressed hard for the equalizing goal.
