The Crusaders came out a little flat and got stung with a Byron Center goal in the first 5 minutes and were facing their first deficit in over a month. This seemed to rattle the team who struggled to string together many passes and put an serious pressure on the Bulldog goal for the rest of the half. The intensity got ratcheted up the 2nd half and paid off with the equalizing goal 15 minutes into the half. Even under pressure the Bulldog defense and goalkeeper kept the Crusaders out of the net for the rest of the game and walked away with a 1-1 tie.
