Even though Unity Christian Varsity Crusaders collected nine hits to Holland's six, they still fell 10-7 on Monday. Ben Hoekstra led Unity with three hits. Unity opened the scoring in the fourth inning after Hoekstra singled, scoring one run. 

Holland flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring five runs on two hits to take a 5-1 lead. The biggest blow was a single by E. Book that drove in two runs. 

Unity came back in the bottom of the sixth, scoring six runs on four hits to take a 7-5 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Ethan Dekock that drove in two. 

Ultimately, Holland got the best of the Crusaders in the 7th inning scoring five runs on 1 hit to take a 10-7 lead for good. P Lehman earned the win for Holland, allowing two hits and zero runs while E. Dejong receive the loss for the Crusaders. Ben Hoekstra started the game for Unity pitching three scoreless innings and allowing just 1 hit. 

Sean Vanderzwaag provided pop in the middle of the lineup, leading the Crusaders with 2 runs batted in. He went 1-4 with a walk on the day. Jared Devries collected two hits on five at bats, Ethan Dejong paced the Crusaders with 2 walks and Jordan Alvarez helped lead the way on the base paths with multiple stolen bases.
