Unity Christian Crusaders Varsity couldn't keep up with Allendale and fell 8-0 on Tuesday. One bright spot for Unity Christian Crusaders Varsity was a single by Jared VanderZwaag in the second inning. Merritt was the winning pitcher for Allendale. The ace allowed four hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out two and walking one. Curtiss threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. VanderZwaag took the loss for Unity Christian Crusaders Varsity. The southpaw allowed five hits and six runs over three and a third innings, striking out three. Jordan Alvarez, Kyler Hinken, VanderZwaag, and Drew Ziel each collected one hit to lead Unity Christian Crusaders Varsity. Allendale totaled ten hits.
