Unity Christian Crusaders Varsity wins contest against West Catholic, 5-4 the final.
In the first inning, West got their offense started when Sutter singled on an 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
Unity pulled away for good with a three run Home Run in the third inning by Kyler Hinken on a 0-1 pitch.
Ayden Deboode led things off on the pitchers mound. The lefty went Five and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out six.
The Crusaders had 8 hits on the day, led by Sam Beckham and Kyler Hinken with multiple hits as well as Sam Buit with a crucial 2 out hit in the 5th inning.
