Unity Christian snatched the lead late in the game in a 14-3 victory over Zeeland West on Monday Night. The game was tied at two with the Crusaders batting in the top of the fourth when Micah Bush Tripled on a 0-1 pitch, clearing the bases and scoring 3 runs. 

Unity took the lead for good with six runs in the fourth inning. Caleb Hoekstra sac fly scored one run for the Crusaders Varsity, Seth Buit tripled on the first pitch of his at bat scoring one run, and Sam Beckham followed up with a triple of his own scoring one. 

The Crusaders tallied six runs again in the sixth inning thanks to a single by Ethan Hart, an error on a ball put in play by Jake McNamara and a double by Ayden Deboode. 

Steven Hoeksema led things off on the hill for Unity Christian Crusaders. The righthander surrendered two runs on eight hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking one. 

Seth Buit wen 3 - 4 at the plate to lead the Crusaders in hitting.
