Unity Christian Crusaders Varsity took home a 6-1 victory Thursday night against Spring Lake.
The Crusaders got on the board in the first inning when Seth Buit was hit by a pitch, driving in a run. Unity Christian tallied four runs in the sixth inning. Batters contributed to the big inning included Micah Bush, Kyler Hinken, and Seth Buit. Sam Beckham went 2-4 at the plate leading the Crusaders in hits.
Brayden Flanders got the win, surrendering one run on three hits over seven innings, and striking out nine.
Unity will play Spring Lake Friday May 20th in a Double Header to finish the season series.
