Unity Christian Crusaders Varsity defeated Holland Christian 11-2 (Game #2) on Tuesday thanks in part to Sam Beckham, who drove in four runners. Beckham drove in runs on a single in the fourth and a single in the fifth.
The Crusaders had 11 hits in the game. Beckham, Bush and McNamara all racked up multiple hits. Beckham went 3-4 at the plate. Again, the Crusaders Varsity team was sure handed in the field as well not committing a single error, thanks in part to the terrific pitching by Ayden DeBoode/Ryan Broek and catching by Micah Bush.
Ayden DeBoode got the start for Unity, pitching five innings, allowing one run on one hit and 11 strikeouts.
