Unity Christian Crusaders Varsity beat Holland Christian Tuesday (Game #1) 11-1. Unity got things started in the first inning when Jayden Devries singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. The Crusaders tallied five runs in the second inning to break the game open. The big inning was thanks to doubles by Jake McNamara, Micah Bush, Kyler Hinken, and Caleb Hoekstra.
Unity Christian Crusaders racked up 11 hits in the game. Bush, Hinken, Devries, Hoonhorst and McNamara each managed multiple hits to the lead the team. The Crusaders didn't commit a single error in the field as well.
Brayden Flanders led things off on the mound, going five innings allowing one run on two hits and striking out four.
