Unity Christian Crusaders Varsity jumped out to an early lead over Hamilton and took home a 5-4 victory on Tuesday. Unity scored on a groundout by Jayden Devries in the first inning and a single by Jake McNamara in the second inning.
Unity Christian earned the victory despite allowing Hamilton to score 3 runs in the seventh inning. Seth Buit made an incredible throw from Right field to get the runner out at second base to seal-the-deal for the Crusaders.
Brayden Flanders was on the mound for the Crusaders Varsity. The righthander lasted six innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out 11.
