OAKRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL: 11
After a year off, the Unity Christian Varsity Baseball team took the field against Oakridge High School. It was a hard, fought game by both teams but in the end Oakridge edged out the Crusaders 11-8. After a slow start, the Crusaders battled back thanks to the timely hitting by Luke Boverhof, and Jayden Devries each with triples. Paul VanderPloeg and Micah Bush contributed with great defense behind the plate each throwing out runners trying to steal.
