The Crusaders were able to make it interesting with the Maroons on Thursday night. Jake Boverhof took the mound for UC and pitched 3 inning while giving up only 2 runs before taking an inside pitch to the hand. Despite trying to come back to pitch the next inning, he was unable to continue. Bryce Dykstra finished the game for UC, giving up 1 earned in 3 innings of work.
Jake Schut and Seth Brouwer led the Crusaders at the plate with 1 hit each, with Brouwer collecting the lone RBI for Unity on the day.
