Notch a win at the Eagle Sader Wildcat Tournament for Unity over East Grand Rapids on Saturday morning. The Crusaders overcame soggy field conditions and a 3 rund deficit to beat the Pioneers 5-4. Jake Boverhof got the win for UC on the mound, coming in relief in the 3rd inning and finishing the game. Seth Brouwer had a timely 2-strike double to left field that knocked in 2 for the Crusaders.
Game 2 vs. Bay City Western found the Crusaders in a difficult spot, losing 12-2.
