The girls freshmen volleyball team headed to West Ottawa for an invitational Saturday morning, coming home in 3rd place overall. The girls went 4-2 in their games in pool play, clenching the #7 seed as they entered the gold bracket. The Saders found a victory after playing the #2 seed in the first round against Covenant and took Forest Hills Eastern to a third game in the semi-championship match, falling short 11-15 and receiving 3rd overall in the gold bracket.
