Unity JV volleyball had an excellent showing on Saturday. Unity went 4-2 in pool play and sealed the #2 seed heading into tournament play. Unity opened tournament play against Zeeland West. The Sader's high energy and hard hitting propelled them to victory: 25-15,25-13. The team tallied 39 kills against the Dux.
In the semi finals, Unity faced Caledonia. Emma Vis and Bella Nagelkirk lead the team with a combined total of 22 kills. The Sader's defeated Caledonia 25-17, 25-20.
Unity met Forest Hills Eastern in the finals. Unity JV fought hard against a very talented FHE team. The team never gave up, but lost 18-25, 21-25. Despite the loss, the Saders played their best volleyball of the day in the finals and still were able to take home a trophy.
