Unity started their first 2016 home quad with some good tough competition. In the first match against Forest Hills Central, the team took the first set free of service errors and then lost in sets 2 and 3. Grand Rapids Christian was their next opponent. They put up a fight but GRC came out on top in 2 sets with scores of 21-25 and 20-25. Finally, Unity met Hudsonville in the last match of the night but fell to them in 2 sets as well.
