HUDSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 32
The Crusaders came away with a 36-32 victory over the Hudsonville Eagles. The Crusaders jumped out to a 7-0 lead only to see the Eagles battle back. It was a back and forth game from the second quarter on. Aliyah Brinks hit a clutch free throw toward the end and scored a basket right before the final buzzer sounded for the four point victory. Madi Saagman led the way with 11 points while Taryn Hinken added 8 points and Grace VanderHill had 7 points. Megan Velzen had a strong game at point guard playing great defense and handling the tough pressure the Eagles put on her.
