The Crusaders completed the first round of league play with a 42-21 victory over the Zeeland Chix. The Crusaders used a strong start leading 29-3 at one point and they connected on 8 three point field goals. Marissa Koetsier led the way with 16 points and Katie Blauw chipped in with 12 points.
