After losing to Zeeland in the 6th match of the year, the girls rattled off 7 wins in a row including a big win over Byron Center to take over first place in the conference.  Looking to avenge their loss to Zeeland, the girls took all 10 points in the baker games.  They won the first by 1 pin and the second by 17 giving them a 10-0 lead going into the regular games.  Behind Aliyah Stanton's 171 in the first game the girls managed 3 more points to stay on top 13-6 despite losing total by 25 pins behind Skylar Beverwyk's 227.  Needing only 3 points for the victory, the girls could feel the win.  Rylee Bond threw a great 190 even though she did not win her point, she put a lot of pins toward total.  Jenna Levering took her point after a 45 pin increase in score from the first game.  Aliyah Stanton squeaked out her point winning by 4 pins.  Now that they had the tie.  It would come down to the anchor bowlers again.  Needing a mark to seal the win and take overall total,Sydney Jeurink did not even need to throw a ball.  The anchor for Zeeland had a strong finish, but it was not enough to overcome the lead the girls had given Sydney for total.  They took game total by 13 pins but not overal total which they lost by 12.  The final score 19-11.  The girls got their revenge over Zeeland to move their record in conference to 12-1-1.
