The Crusaders went up against some strong Division 1 volleyball teams at the Hudsonville Invite on Saturday. The team took second in pool play after splitting with West Ottawa 16-25, 25-18 and Forest Hills Central 22-25 and 25-23, which put the team in the silver bracket. Unity's first opponent was Grandville and the first two sets were incredibly close with Unity taking the first set 27-25 but losing the second set 25-27. Unfortunately, the team fell flat and lost set three 6-15. Our final game was a second meeting with Spring Lake and the Crusaders took the win 25-16, 25-15.
