Today the Crusaders took on Grandville, East Grand Rapids and Holland Christian at the Grandville Quad. We started off with a 2 set win against East Grand Rapids 25-18 and 25-20. Unity's next opponent was a tough Grandville team who came from behind to almost take set one, but Unity was able to hold them off for a 25-23 win. Grandville came back and took set 2, 19-25. Unity regrouped and built a good size lead in set 3 and took the win with a score of 15-11 in set 3. Our final match of the day was against our rivals of Holland Christian. The first set was back and forth but Unity was able claim set one, 25-23. Holland came out strong in set two and built a sizable lead. The Crusaders fought back but lost set two 20-25, forcing a third set. Unity dug in and took the win with a set three score of 15-11. It was an incredible day of volleyball and a great way to end the week! Go Blue!
