HOLLAND CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 3
On Wednesday night, Unity Christian Varsity softball completed the DH with Holland Christian that was postponed from Monday night. Unity came out on top in a run ruled contest 15-3 after 6 innings. Unity was led by Makenzie Cammenga as she won her 25th game of the season to set the school record wins in a season. Makenzie pitched 3 innings striking out 7 and only giving up one hit. Madeline Dykhouse came on in relief pitching 3 innings, striking out 2, and not giving up an earned run. Unity had 17 hits on the night led by Paige Rylaarsdam & Brooklyn Overweg with 3. Brooklyn also went deep for her 2nd HR on the season. Bella Duimstra, Trista Goorhouse, Molly Versluis, & Madeline all had 2 hits to join in on the fun. Unity will be travelling to Ravenna on Thursday for a non conference DH.
