On Wednesdy Night, Unity Christian Varsity Softball hosted Byron Center in a non-league doubleheader. Unity won the 1st game behind strong pitching from Makenzie Cammenga 10-0 in 6 innings. Makenzie struck out 14 in the contest. In game 2 Madeline Dykhouse got the start. Madeline pitched a great game but unfortunately lost 9-4. Unity collected 17 hits on the night, led by Autumn Meinzer with 6, and Molly Versluis, Bella Duimstra, & Madeline with 3 hits each. Unity Christian Varsity Softball will next be in action on Saturday as they travel to Wayland.
