UC Varsity Softball finished up the regular season tonight against Forest Hills Eastern. FHE came into the contest with a winning record, but Unity Varsity Softball was able to prevail tonight by a winning score of 11-1. Unity used 3 different pitchers on the night. Kaylee Vander Veen received the win, but Allie Lubben & Mackenzie Cammenga each threw 2 inning of shutout softball. Unity also totaled 10 hits on the evening with Ashley Veldheer leading the way with 4 in the game. Next up for Unity is next week Tuesday as they travel to Saugatuck to compete in the Pre-District game against Saugatuck High School.
