HOLLAND CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 1
UC Varsity Softball won two games against Holland Christian on Tuesday evening in brutal weather conditions. Although it was cold outside, the UC bats were on fire. Unity collected 11 hits in both games in leading to run rule victories, 15-0 & 15-1. Kaylee VanderVeen was credited with the win in game 1 throwing a 1 hitter. Lauren Hermance got the start & win in game 2, only allowing 3 hits. Game 1, Unity had several players with multiple hits, led by Mya VanderVliet w/ 3, and Ashley Veldheer, Kaylee VanderVeen, & Olivia Miller each had two hits apiece. In game 2, 5 different players had two hits, Ashley Veldheer, Molly Versluis, Tory Decker, Olivia Miller, & Lauren Hermance. Unity will next be in action on Thursday at Calvin Christian.
