COVENANT CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Unity Christian Varsity Softball came to play on Wednesday afternoon as they sweep a doubleheader from Covenant Christian by scores of 13-0 & 15-0. Unity was led in pitching by Allie Lubben in game 1 and Kaylee VanderVeen in game 2. Both pitchers threw no hitters to lead their team. Hitting was also very strong on the night as Unity Varsity Softball belted 4 HR. Natalie Bush, Allie Lubben, Kaylee VanderVeen, & Olivia Miller each hit one out on the day. Unity Softball was able to produce 16 hits in game 1 and 11 hits in game 2 as several players had multiple hits on the evening. Unity Christian Softball will next be in action on Monday, April 25th at Jenison for a doubleheader.
