It came down to last play, but Unity Christian was on wrong end of a 2-1 defeat to Hamilton Varsity on Tuesday. The game was tied at one with Hamilton batting in the bottom of the 7th, and Hamiton won in walk off fashion on a single by Raya VanderZwaag. The pitching was strong on both sides. Kaylee VanderVeen pitched 7 strong inning only giving up 1 earned run and only 1 walk. Bats were quiet for most of the game as Unity was only able to muster 4 hits in the game.
