In Regional action the Crusaders came away with a hard fought win over GR Catholic Central 1-0. The game kicked off at 5:00 when after playing for just over 12 minutes the game was halted due to thunder. Both teams took the field again after an hour or so only to be sent back to the locker rooms after more thunder followed by torrential rain. When the weather finally cleared the field was determined to be unplayable and the game moved to Byron Center's Field where play resumed at 8:30. The lone goal came off a UC corner kick followed by 3 consecutive UC headers, a crossbar and a post before crossing the goal line for the game winner.
