The Chix of Zeeland East came to town and after a 45 minute lightning delay the two teams tangled on the pitch in an end to end battle. Zeeland came out strong and dictated the early pace, but the Crusader defense held firm. UC scored the game winner 8 minutes into the 2nd half. Both teams hit the crossbar in the second half and battled evenly to the final whistle with the one lone goal holding up for the win.
