The Freshman Crusaders split two well-played games with Zeeland East. The won the first game 5-4 and lost the second game 3-2. Lance Spriensma went the distance and got the win for the Crusaders, which was sealed by a wonderful pick by Matt Hoonhorst at first base to end the game. Hoonhorst also pitched an excellent game 2 and added a couple of hits on the day.
