Boys Freshman Baseball vs. West Ottawa HS School

WEST OTTAWA HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The boys lost to West Ottawa 13-9 in game 1 and won game 2 by a score of 17-2. The boys played very well in cold conditions. Seth Buit and Jayden DeVries had excellent days at the plate, each with multiple hits and a double. Ryan Broek picked up the win in our second game and both Chad Scholtens and Ethan Stienstra had nice games behind the plate. As a veteran coach during the month of April, I would like to send a special thank you to the parents that stayed for two full games. It was 38 degrees and snowing when I got to my car. It was cold.
