The Freshman Crusaders lost their opener yesterday to Grand Rapids Christian 13-7. Jayden DeVries had two doubles and triple, and John Gillette also added two hits. Our defensive highlights both came from Ryan Broek who both made an amazing pick at first base and an outstanding fully-extended catch in the outfield.
