Even though the freshman Crusaders got down 12-0 early, they had the will power to end the game with 7 unanswered runs. Logan Lubbers threw 3 1/3 scoreless innings and Cody DeHaan contributed with a clutch base hit and a strong defensive performance. Luke Boverhof, Lucas Huttinga, and Zach Baar also had good days at the plate.
